My love for flowers started at a very young age. Then in high school I took horticulture and floriculture for my science credit and couldn't get enough of flowers. More than anything I wanted to work with flowers.
There was always someone getting married in our family with 8 kids. Either that or we knew a friend getting married. In 2004, we thought someone in the family should get their license so we could purchase the flowers ourselves instead of using the high school where I first learned to arrange flowers. After doing just two weddings, I was told by my friends that I needed to do this as a business. Since 2004, I have networked with a few websites and got a website of my own. Now word has gotten out, and my schedule books up fast.
I grew up not having much money and I knew how to stretch a dollar. I save money where ever I can. I grew up knowing how to look for the good deals and always believing in the golden rule. That is why I say that getting married doesn't mean you have dollar signs written on your forehead and it shouldn't mean going into major debt!
I create these flowers out of my home for two reasons. First, I have two children with special needs that need me at home. This is something I can do to help me be able to stay home. Second, I have no building that I need to pay for. The savings gets passed onto you.
I now have over 12 years of experience, and I take classes to make sure I am on the cutting edge on new techniques. I am here to help you in any way I can to help your wedding day dreams come true. Please contact me with any questions you may have and please visit my guest book to hear from the brides, grooms and honored guests from past weddings.
